According to the WeChat official account of Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. (600583), the first set of shallow-water Multi-channel Quick Connect hydraulic connector (shallow-water MQC) independently developed by the company recently obtained a product certification certificate issued by DNV, marking that the product has reached internationally advanced performance standards. As a critical connecting component for subsea production systems, this product can simultaneously connect multiple hydraulic pipelines and chemical reagent pipelines in a single operation under shallow-water conditions and complete automatic locking and sealing, enabling the stable delivery of hydraulic power and chemical agents for subsea production operations.
This technological breakthrough has greatly improved the efficiency of subsea installation and maintenance as well as the operational safety of related equipment, earning it the reputation of an all-purpose quick connector for subsea applications. Developed specifically for shallow-water working conditions, the product is capable of meeting demanding operational requirements including high pressure and multi-channel transmission. Its R&D team has achieved major breakthroughs in core technologies covering structural design, locking mechanisms, protection systems and emergency unlocking functions.
A full range of stringent performance tests verified that all technical specifications of the product match those of leading equivalent overseas products. In recent years, Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. has prioritized independent research and technological innovation while driving the development of its upstream and downstream industrial chain. The company has mastered core technologies for the design, fabrication and testing of multiple deepwater subsea equipment. Beyond the shallow-water MQC, it has independently developed various vital components such as subsea hydraulic connectors and subsea electronic modules, alongside flagship equipment including deepwater subsea Christmas trees and subsea automatic pigging manifolds, substantially boosting the core competitiveness of China’s offshore engineering equipment sector.
