The RMG-2-MP is an in-line 2-pin RMG Rubber Molded connector rated to 300 m (30 Bar), 250 V DC/AC / 10 A per contact (20 A total). Flexible rubber over-mould body for commercial diving umbilical in-line splicing. The Male Pin configuration mates with the FS (female socket) counterpart.

Installation, Mating and Maintenance Guidelines

Mating Procedure

(1) Inspect contacts - clean if contaminated. (2) Inspect O-rings - apply silicone grease. (3) Align and push straight - no twisting. (4) Push until fully seated. (5) Install locking sleeve immediately. (6) IR test before energising.

Deck Handling

Install dummy plugs before water entry. Rinse with fresh water after seawater exposure. Inspect rubber body after every dive. Replace any connector with damaged body immediately.

Storage and O-Ring Maintenance

Store with dummy plugs installed, dry and UV-shaded. Lubricate O-rings before each use. Replace O-rings every 2 years or on visible damage.
